scale is a result of the Adap.tv acquisition.
Sky The UK’s ‘Fastest Growing Connected TV Service’
Sky say their plan to accelerate growth in new connected TV services has had an ‘immediate impact’, with 642,000 customers connecting their Sky+HD boxes to broadband in Q3 2013, bringing the total to 3.4 million. As a result, the number of connected homes reached 3.4 million, up from 1.3 million last year, making Sky the UK’s fastest-growing connected TV service. Sky say they saw strong growth across all products with 800,000 new paid-for subscription products, representing growth is up 50% year on year.
Nielsen Launch Cross-Platform Measurement in UK
