StreamAds is a New Dutch Video Ad Network Focusing on ‘Out-stream’ Ads

StreamAds are a new Dutch video ad network who focusing on ‘out-stream’ video ads. For those who need reminding, out-stream video ads are those that are typically embedded within articles (i.e. not in-stream), often on autoplay, although the sound often isn’t necessarily activated unless the user hovers over the ads with their mouse. The technology is provided by third parties – mainly by French video ad tech company Teads.tv at this point – and StreamAds founder Erik Dubbeldeman is refreshingly honest about what StreamAds brings to the table: hand-picked and high quality supply, viewable ads, friendly service and the option to buy programmatically. That’s no small thing in 2014.

Many have predicted that niche ad networks would re-emerge in new forms once the programmatic dust had settled — StreamAds just might be the first of many new arrivals. Filmed in Amsterdam.
