Videoplaza and Canal+Canal+, one of France’s largest broadcasting groups, has selected Videoplaza to support its video ad delivery and management across its mobile, web and IPTV, connected TV properties. Videoplaza will be rolling out their Karbon platform out across the Canalplus.FR site to deliver video advertising across all device types, including iPhone and tablets, as well as across their IPTV offering. Canal+ has circa 6 million monthly unique visitors according to French audience ratings firm, Mediametrie (April).

The deal is a coup for London-based Videoplaza who have been making significant inroads into the French market. Another notable French client of Videoplaza’s is France’s most profitable commercial broadcaster, M6.

Sophie Davidas, Videplaza’s Commercial Director in France said, “We are hugely thrilled to be working with Canal+, an innovative broadcaster that is exploring the key opportunities presented by the growth of viewing on multiple devices. Being able to sell and serve advertising to one audience across different screens will enable Canal+ to continue to innovate. We look forward to working closely with them to make this happen”
