Successful AI Strategies Need Teams to be “Personal Trainers for Data”

With all the hype around AI, it might be tempting for an executive to rush into a half-baked AI strategy. But Andrew Grosso, Co-Founder & CPO at Pickaxe Foundry, suggests a set of principles for implementing AI in a robust manner.

“It’s about training your team to think of themselves as personal trainers for data,” he says. “Are they looking at it every week to see if there’s data that’s mislabelled? Are they making sure that it arrives on time in the right format?”

In this interview, filmed at the VideoWeek Villa in Cannes, Grosso sets out the principles of a robust AI strategy, the importance of data hygiene, and building a responsible culture around that data.
