We Don’t Want All TV to be Addressable says ITV’s Daglish

ITV is working towards an addressable TV advertising offering on its linear channels, but the ultimate aim isn’t for the broadcaster to make all of its inventory addressable says Simon Daglish, group commercial director at ITV. While ITV is enthusiastic about addressable advertising on its digital player ITV Hub, the company doesn’t want to carve up its linear inventory into small audiences and compromise its reach. In this interview Daglish also explains how its delivering targeted ads via the ITV Hub, and outlines ITV’s attitude towards working with other competitor broadcasters.
