Rovi Adds Sony Devices to Its Connected TV Ad Network

Rovi LogoRovi Corporation has announced that Sony has become the latest device manufacturer to add their connected TV inventory to the Rovi Advertising Network. Sony inventory will be available through Rovi in the UK, Germany, and the ads will feature on the Sony connected TV electronic programme guides (EPGs) on Sony connected TVs and blu-ray disc players.

Rovi claim to have the largest amount of connected TV inventory in Europe and now has inventory in its network from from nearly all of the leading TV manufacturers. Rovi also sells advertising space on Sony Bravia TVs and select blu-ray players in North America/

In Europe, the Rovi Advertising Network represents the inventory for a number of connected TVs and Blu-ray Disc players including Samsung, Panasonic and Toshiba. Advertisers on Rovi’s network include BT, Honda, Channel 4, Ladbrokes, Red Bull, and Twentieth Century Fox.
