Can AI and Sustainability Go Hand-in-Hand?

The high energy costs associated with generative AI mean it’s often seen as opposed to sustainability, says Anna-Lena Mikoteit-Zerb, Head of Digital at Bauer Media Group. But efficiency is key to sustainability, and in some cases the efficiency gains delivered by AI may be large enough to outweigh the associated energy costs.
