Google has pushed back its deadline for removing third-party cookies from Chrome, replaced its FLoC sandbox solution with Topics API, and announced its intentions to sunset its mobile ad identifier. Apple’s own ad identifier restrictions have come into force, reshaping the mobile advertising market. And regulators in Europe and the US have begun to investigate the competitive implications of the tech giants’ privacy moves.
As such, it’s as vital as ever for all players across the digital advertising ecosystem to understand the new identity landscape. Our hope is that this guide will help lay out how the various identity solutions available in the market fit together, which issues the industry still needs to collectively solve, and what the impact of future privacy changes will be.
