One of the most frequently cited problems facing broadcasters is how they reach younger audiences, who are spending less time with traditional linear TV and more time with social platforms and video games. But the extent of this drift away from traditional TV is often exaggerated says Stéphane Coruble, CEO of RTL AdConnect, who believes traditional linear TV is still an effective platform for reaching young audiences. In this interview, Coruble also discusses why RTL has been pushing into the US and APAC markets, and what he hopes to see from regulators’ crackdowns on the tech giants.
