We’ll See GDPR-Like Legislation in the US Within Next Two Years says Simulmedia’s Dave Morgan

The massive acceleration we’ve seen in the converged TV space is presenting a lot of exciting opportunities, as well as a few challenges says Dave Morgan, CEO of Simulmedia. One of the big challenges will be the emergence of new data laws, and Morgan predicts that the US will create unified, GDPR-like data laws over the next couple of years. In this interview Morgan also discusses other big changes effecting the video advertising world, including the growth of ad-supported streaming services.
