New Video Frontiers: What to Expect and Who’s Coming

Vincent Flood 16 October, 2015

New Video FrontiersWith New Video Frontiers London just a week away, we thought we’d give you an insight into what to expect over the two days. It’s our best speaker line-up ever, our best venue ever, and we’re exceptionally proud of this year’s audience profile, with over 450 leading brands, agencies, publishers, broadcasters and tech companies coming from across Europe, the US and Japan. This event is on course to sell out but you might get one of the last remaining tickets here.

Some of the World’s Best and Most Influential Speakers

Some the headline speakers include Bob Hoffman, The Ad Contrarian, who was widely regarded as the highlight of Advertising Week in London and New York last year. Bob’s talk is titled ‘Consumers are from Mars, Consumers are from New Jersey’, in what promises to be a witty if slightly controversial take on the state of advertising today. On day two, Rob Norman, Chief Digital Officer of GroupM and arguably the most influential man in digital advertising today, will be on stage for a fireside chat with VAN Editor Vincent Flood.

The World’s Top Companies Tackling the Industry’s Key Issues

One of the cornerstones of New Video Frontiers is that it’s a cross-industry event, bringing the buy-side, the sell-side and everyone in between together.

Companies taking part include:

LiveRail, Facebook, GroupM, Ooyala, Condé Nast, Havas, Sky, FreeWheel, Shine (a leading ad-blocking company), TheLadBible, Smartclip, Coull, AMNET, YuMe, Channel 4, TubeMogul, RTL Group, Digital Element, Powerlinks, MEC, RTÉ, Decipher, Spiegel, Stailamedia, IPONWEB, Adbrain, Amplifi, Canal+, Privacy International, Adjust Your Set, Digiday, Teemo, Xaxis, MTM, Blue 449, The Weather Channel, Rightster, Local World, Forrester Research, IHS Screen Digest UniLad, Ancora Media Solutions, Thinkbox, Channel 5 and Mediacom.

We’ll be tackling all of the industry’s key issues, from ad-blocking right through to programmatic TV. You can see the full schedule for both days here.  The event will then conclude with an industry debate on the following motion: “The millennials have deserted TV and are not coming back,” and the audience will be invited to vote electronically.
