Appnexus Introduce Video Buying via Brightroll

Appnexus have announced they’re to integrate video inventory from Brightroll’s BRX ad exchange into the AppNexus platform, enabling their partner with advertisers to buy video inventory for the first time via AppNexus.

“It’s clear that advertisers are demanding open exchange platforms that enable them to easily and efficiently access advertising inventory in real time,” said Tod Sacerdoti, CEO and founder of BrightRoll. “This partnership is a win for both platforms. We’re thrilled to partner with AppNexus to make BRX video inventory available to their buyers and BRX publishers will benefit from additional demand for their valuable inventory.”

In a statement Appnexus said the ‘availability of video inventory on the AppNexus platform addresses the increasing demand for a single media buying interface for both online display and video advertising exchanges’. Buyers on the AppNexus platform will be able to set up campaigns targeting BRX inventory within AppNexus Console.
